How IGU replacement works and what to expect.

What causes windows to fog up between the panes?

The seal between the two glass panes fails over time, letting moisture in. The only fix is a new insulated glass unit (IGU).

Do I need to replace the whole window?

Usually no. We replace the IGU only — the frame stays in place. Frame replacement is only needed if the frame itself is damaged.

How long does a replacement take?

Once the custom IGU arrives, the swap is done in a single visit — usually under an hour per window.

Can you match low-e or tinted glass?

Yes. We spec the new IGU to match your existing glass: low-e coating, tint, gas fill, and thickness.
